I am alive . . .

Surely it hasn't been two months since I've posted!!!!
Jeez - Summer is not a good time for me. I am so swamped at work.

Here are some pics from the 4th of July. We went to Randolph AFB to see the fireworks - it was so much fun.

Then, here are some pics of the girls playing in the sprinkler tonight (I guess Bryan must have changed a setting on the camera because they are all blurry - oh well, here they are anyways):

For my mom - I love you!

Pictures for you that I've needed to upload but never have!

Here is an action shot of Zoe during a soccer game (she is #4)

Here is Tobi on a break-away, going for goal

The soccer cuties

Me and Tobi snuggling during her half-time

This was taken during Lutheran Schools Week. Tobi was dressed up for "Career Day" - she wanted to be a Dance Teacher and Zoe was dressed up for "Character Day" - she was Marie the cat, of course :)

Easter Pictures - these were from the Easter Egg Hunt at our Church

A picture of some really stressed out dogs!!!

Tobi during her gymnastics class - this was her first season of gymnastics and she did really well.

Zoe doing a forward roll on the balance beam - she is such a powerhouse, now if she would only concentrate :)

The girls being silly one day when daddy picked them up early from school - thank goodness Bryan knows how important pictures are to me

Zoe - nothin' but GLAMOR GIRL

Girl's Room redesign

When we first bought the girls their new beds 2 years ago, we told them that when Tobi turned 5 we would make them bunk beds. Well, she's five and we finally made the time to put their beds into bunk beds. Here are some pictures of the re-design:

This is the girls sitting on their beds.

Here is me just panning around the room:

More panning:

And here is Tobi, right after I tucked her in for the night - she is thrilled and said she feels like a pirate! Man I love them. And Bryan worked so hard on helping to get everything in order for their room to be beautiful!!!

I'm still alive . . .

Sorry it has been so long. Lots of ups and downs recently.
So what's been going on? A lot and not much all at the same time. Basically we are all doing well. Zoe was accepted in to Pre-K. I'll be changing my hours to work the early shift - someone's going to have to teach me and the girls how to get up early :)
Both girls are sooooo cute at soccer. I'll post some pics of that next time.
But for now here is a picture of the girls playing with one of Tobi's new toys she got for her birthday. They were so cute trying to read and figure out the directions. We didn't even tell them what directions were - very smart cuties!!!

Then, one night Bryan and I are watching a show after the girls were in bed. Then we headed to bed and as we got to the stairs we found we had a stow-away. I can't believe Zoe slept like this, but it makes me smile every time I see it.

I miss you guys.
Tami :)

Yee-haw

Tobi is 5!!!!
I cannot believe it!!!

She asked for a cowgirl party, so that is what we gave her. I will add in pics of all of the accessories & invitations for her party later, but here are some of the details and the party pictures.
I made the invitations using Stampin' Up! pretty in pink and close to cocoa. I also used the berry bliss double sided paper. Here is Zoe with the animals.

Then I used my Cricut Expression to create the banner you see in this photo.

I ordered the goody bag supplies from Oriental Trading company. I ordered coin bubblegum, little horses, cowboy notepads, and branding tattoos and wrapped them up in bandannas. I also stamped the table cloths using the same stamp set I used for the invitations. And Bryan made a cake.

For entertainment I heard of this lady who does pony parties. She brought out chickens, a mini Brahma bull, ducks, and a pony. Since the party was for a girl, she put glitter in her tail and a bow. Tobi was completely surprised and loved every minute of. This lady also did 'arm painting'.

The party was a complete success - we think. The children loved the animals, Tobi loved having her friends over to finally see her room. She was very excited and got great presents.

I will post the thank you notes too, once I take a picture.

Ah Springtime . . .

Today we were at the nursery getting some flowers to plant in our front yard. I was inside paying and Bryan and the girls were outside waiting for me. Next thing I know Bryan comes storming inside with Tobi crying. Poor Tobi was stung by a bee on the top lip.

It's been a while . . . I know . . .

I know I should have updated eons ago, but oh well, here's the latest news.

Bryan's contract ended on Friday, February 15 and thankfully he took my advice and started looking for a job before his contract ended and so by Monday, February 18 he had a "full-time job" (not a contract that we'll have to stress about in 3 months) that he started. It's perfect. He works right around the corner on Randolph Air Force Base.

Tobi turns 5 in two weeks. How crazy is that!!! She wants a 'Cowgirl Party' so we are having her birthday party here at our house. I called a lady who has a petting zoo and Pony ride and so that is Tobi's present from us. Since the party is for a girl they are going to put a bow and glitter in the pony's mane. She is also going to bring a petting zoo and set it up in our backyard! Cute!!! There are going to be a pygmie goat, a goose, a llama, and a sheep I think. This lady is supposed to be awesome, she even does face painting. Tobi has no idea and will be so surprised.

Recently at school Tobi had Cowboy day. Here is a picture of her on cowboy day.

Then she had a bike rodeo and she did such a good job. Look how cute she is.

This past weekend the girls were invited to a birthday party for a friend. It was a princess dress up party and carriage ride through downtown. The girls had such a good time.

More later!!!

Still Here . . .

I know I havent updated in forever . . . so much going on . . .
I do not have any pictures today, but I do have some funny stories:

The other day I was walking around the Child Care Center, working . . . and I popped my head in to Zoe's classroom. She saw me and said "Look mommy, I'm eating po-po cuffs."

Wednesday, I was home sick with the girls. I had Zoraster let the dogs. A few minutes later I looked outside only to see Belle in the Rabbit Run. Yes . . . in the Rabbit Run. The front door of the rabbit house was open, Belle had walked through their house. One of the bunnies got out and ran under the house. Jas shooed that bunny out, I caught it and put it back and then finally convinced Belle to come back through the house and out in to the yard . . .
